Thieves Smash Windows Of 3 Cars To Steal Property

A Gang of thieves smashed windows of 3 cars Pattaya city in the same night and stole Buddhist images, car stereos and logos off the cars.

CHONBURI – January 23, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 10.00 p.m. Pol. Lt. Col. Prasit Munsri (Investigation officer of Pattaya city police station, Chonburi province) was notified that there were 3 cars that had their windows smashed in the car park of the worker camp at Wong Amart construction site, Moo 6 Soi Na Kluea 16/2, Pattaya – Na Kluea road, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province.

At the incident the officers found the car owners who were waiting for the police. After inspecting the the scene the police found a bronze Isuzu pickup truck that belonged to Mr. Noi, license number BOR NOR-542 Phitsanulok had its right back window smashed and its stereo, 1 Buddhist image and the battery had been stolen.

Also a bronze Toyota Vigo pickup truck, license number BOR THOR-1799 Buriram which belonged to Mr. Suthep Kramram, aged 40, Buriram resident, was pried open by the thieves and they had stolen the logo off the front of the pickup truck and a black Mitsubishi Triton pickup truck, license number PHOR NGOR-4140 Nakhon Ratchasima that belonged to Mr. Samorn Tannula, aged 33, Buriram resident, the tyre air valves had been stolen.

From questioning Mr. Noi he said that he and the other 2 victims are contractors on site and they had parked their pickup trucks there while they were working and had done for several days. But today he was going to run some errands and when he tried to start his pickup it wouldn’t start so he opened the bonnet and found that the battery was missing and the window had been pried and his properties inside the pickup truck was missing, so he told his colleagues and they also found that their pickup trucks had been broken into.

Upon questioning Mrs. Dueanchai Sriram, aged 38, who was an eyewitness, said that on January 21, 2014 while she was parking her car she saw 2 men were sitting in front of Mr. Noi’s pickup truck and acted as if they were repairing it so she thought that they were the pickup truck’s owner and the workers at the same construction site.
. However, the police will rush to follow up to arrest this gang of thieves to prosecute according to the law as soon as possible.
