PATTAYA-April 29, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; Later, at 10.00 a.m. on the same day (April 29, 2014) Pol.Capt. Jeerasak Aebfaeng (Investigation officer who was responsible for this case) together with the Forensic Police 2 (Chonburi) went to inspect the scene again in order to collect fingerprints and other additional evidence which took approximately 1 hour. Upon questioning Mr Anan Yaemsaeng, aged 40, the control officer of Siam Administrative Management Co., Ltd., he said that on April 23, 2014, the company had taken 3,500,000 THB to refill the ATM machine and there was approximately 2 million THB in the 2 money boxes that were stolen by the 4 thieves which contained 1,000 THB only, but in the remaining boxes which were left by the thieves one box contained 500 THB and the other two boxes contained 100 THB bank notes.

Pol.Capt. Supphathee Boonkhrong (Deputy Commander of Chonburi Provincial Police Station) went to Nong Prue police station to have a meeting with the detective police team of Chonburi Provincial Police Station, Nong Prue police station, Pattaya city police station and Banglamung police station to make a plan to find and arrest the 4 thieves.

Pol. Capt. Supphathee Boonkhrong revealed that from inspecting the CCTV footage he found that the thieves were Thai and not foreigners and they were probable professional thieves because they had been well prepared. Also the police found that the ATM machine did not have an alarm installed and it wasn’t linked to the police station which gave the thieves over 30 minutes to commit the their crime. However Pol. Supphathee Boonkhrong has already commanded the detective police team to inspect all the CCTVs along their escape route in order to find more clues so the police can make arrests which is expected very soon.
