Thieves Break Into CarA car was broken into and the belongings inside were taken while the owners were in a temple on Visakhabucha day.
SATTAHIP – June 1,2015 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 10.00 am Pol.Lt.Thant Sipaman-inspector of Sattahip police station- was notified that a car was broken into on a car park in front of Khao Ploy temple. After notification the police officers rushed to inspect the scene.
At the scene the officers found a Nissan Navara which had damage to the driver’s window, P.H.A.Panawat Charoenrit aged 52 was the owner and Mrs.Somjai Jongsawas aged 55 was his wife. The thief had taken a pistol, gold necklace, a ring, 2,000 baht and Lenovo smart phone which was all valued about 100,000 baht.
Upon questioning P.H.A.Panawat he revealed that he was in the temple with his wife and when he returned to his car it had been broken into and his belongings had been taken. Luckily, the thief didn’t notice a pack of money that his wife had put under the passenger seat.
Pol.Lt.Thanat said that the police will check for finger prints to hunt for the thief. Plus, they will inspect the CCTV around the crime scene. It’s expected that there may have been 2 or more people involved.
