The “One Villas” Pattaya Grand Opening Party

The “One Village” project is not your usual housing development, but offers large, exclusive residences south of Pattaya at a quiet Na-Jontien location, just past the Thai-Austrian Technical College on the southern side of Sukhumvit and only 2.7 kilometres off this expressway.

Pattaya, the 14th of January 2010 [Pattaya Daily News]: In spite of threatening rain, the “One Village” project opening party was blessed with a fine evening, so the guests arrived to witness a beautiful sunset and enjoy the selection of food & drinks. The “One Village” project is being developed by the Pacific Rim Rich (“P.Rich”) Group of companies and this is a very apt name as this is a huge conglomerate that has no need to borrow money. Furthermore, property development is only 20% of their business, as they have worldwide interests in the media industry plus manufacturing, import & export facilities that embrace both Thailand & China.

PDN was lucky enough to be able to interview the CEO of the Pacific Rim Rich Group, Khun Siri Chomchan, and he told us that the company was founded 28-yers ago. They started in the construction industry, specializing in government contracts and “turn-key” projects, and then moved up to a very big development project in America. The export arm of the “P.Rich” company includes construction materials from China, cement from Germany, plus elevators & packaging machines from their Chiang Mai factories.”

Khun Siri Chomchan further stated that in these early days, their Bangkok housing projects were difficult to sell, because other residences often had no style in either construction or promotion. He went on to say that their construction of villas in Phuket was much more successful with this new “One Village” project looking good for further success, and stated that “I want to like a project before I build it.”

Instead of paying top price for a central city residence, why not consider the alternative of a country home at a much lower cost, and offering a greater degree of privacy, “But what about the inconvenience of traveling to town” you say; – Well this is really no problem at all, because the roads south of Pattaya are wide and straight, so the traveling time is a mere fifteen minutes. This was the philosophy of the Pacific Rim Rich Group of companies, when they decided to purchase land and build the “One Village” project.
