Thai Navy Rescue Villagers

Royal Thai Navy and administrative officers have helped many people who have been affected by the flooding which has hit many parts of Thailand.

RAYONG – September 17,2015 [PattayadailyNews]; at 15.00 pm VADM.Sucheep wangmaitree- director of disaster prevention stabilization- had ordered 100 navy soldiers to help villagers in flooded areas.

The soldiers gave the villagers sand bags to help stop the water entering their houses. They also helped some people move their belongings to higher ground to escape the rising flood water and people who were injured by the flooding were taken to hospital.

VADM.Sucheep said that many areas in country had been hit by the storm which caused major flooding and damage. The Sam Nuk Kra Ton district had been severely damaged by the storm and the whole village was under water and was cut off. Therefore, the officers needed to help the villagers as soon as possible.

However, the Royal Thai Navy was prepared and ready to assist any people who were in trouble. People who needed their help can contact them on 038-438008 .
