Thai Man Forced To Give Fake Police Money In Pattaya

A Thai man was forced to give two Thai men a large amount of money after they planted methamphetamines on him and told him they were the police. The incident happened in Pattaya.

PATTAYA– October 8, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 03.00 am Mr.Kachanon (Lek) Sudcha aged 24 had notified the police that he had been forced by 2 men with guns into a house. Later the men put handcuffs on him gave him 2 packs of methamphetamines took his photos before putting him a car.

 

Later the men told him that they would release him, if he gave them 100,000 baht. Mr.Kachanon was really afraid and he didn’t know what to do so he decided to withdraw the large amount of money from the ATM and gave it to them. After that the men left him near the ATM and fled thye scene. He consulted with his friends about the incident and his friends told him to notify the police. In addition his friend showed him the FACEBOOK page of one of the villains and Mr.Kachanon confirmed his identity.

Pol.Lt.Col.Saney said that the officers had checked the identity of the villain in the document and they found out that he extorted money from foreigners in Pattaya many times before. However the police officers are now hunting the bogus villains.
