Thai Lady Killed Crossing the Road

A Thai lady was killed by a speeding car as she crossed the road.

PATTAYA – August 23, 2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 3.00 a.m., Pol.Lt. Kwanchai Numkhanitsorn (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station) was notified that there was a situation of a car that had crashed into a female and 3 others that had been severely injured. The incident occurred at South Pattaya intersection, near the entrance of Sukhumvit road. So he rushed to the scene together with the rescue team of Sawang Boriboon.


At scene the officers found 1 female deceased. Who was identified as Miss Namphon (do not know her surname and her age). Near the corpse, there was a black Toyota Yaris car, license number Kor Yor-2839 Chon Buri, which had crashed into the back of a green Isuzu pick-up truck and a blue 6-wheeled Isuzu truck which were parked on a roadside. The 3 injured victims consisted of 2 women and 1 man who were identified as Mr. Nid (alias), aged 17, Miss Kay (alias), aged 17 and Miss Koy (alias), aged 17 and were taken to Bangkok-Pattaya hospital by the rescuers before the police arrived at scene. Upon inspecting the car the police found 1 schoolbag, cigarettes and 2 bottles of liquor so they kept them for evidence.


Upon inspecting the scene they found out that before the incident occurred Miss Namphon was walking across the road from South Pattaya road to Tharm Samakkee temple when suddenly there was a car driven at high speed and crashed into Miss Namphon so violently that it caused her body to be flung for almost 20 meters. After inspecting the scene the police will inspect CCTV footage at the incident area in order to find an actual cause of this accident.
