
Thai-Indian Woman Commits Suicide In Burning Car
A woman committed suicide in front of mega Buddha sculpture at Chi Chan cliff by setting her car on fire. It was revealed that she had been suffering from severe depression.PATTAYA – September 11, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 15.30 pm Pol.Capt.Rasita Nenpong-female inspector of Na Jomtien police station- was notified that a car was on fire and there was a deceased inside it in front of Khao Chi Chan. After notification the police officers and Sawang Rojjana Thmma Satharn rescue team immediately rushed to the scene.
At the scene the officials found a Honda Jazz that had been severely damaged by fire. Upon inspecting the car, they found the body of Ms.Pittasnan Darsing aged 44 a Thai-Indian who was a Koh Larn tour guide. Initially the officials sent the body for an autopsy at the forensics, police hospital.
Upon questioning Mrs.Tongbai Wonglae the 48 year old neighbour she told police that that she was a tour guide at Koh Larn island and had suffered depression and she had been in her house for 3 years. Before the incident she borrowed 200 baht from her niece to buy gasoline to set the house on fire and set herself on fire. Therefore her mom notified rescuers to take her to hospital. Later she fled from the hospital before taking her car from home and crashed into many people as she fled. The police tried to catch her but couldn’t. Later she was found dead in a burning car.
