Thai Girl Hands In Wallet To Pattaya Police

A foreigner who dropped his wallet was very lucky after a kind hearted Thai girl took it to the police station who contacted him to come and collect it.

PATTAYA – November 10, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.30 pm Pol.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong- was notified by Ms.Pimonrat Wisetnok aged 31 that she had found a wallet that belonged to a foreigner and it contained 20,505 baht and some documents.


Previously Mr Michael J Thornton aged 43 from Australia had notified the police that he had dropped his wallet. So when the Thai girl handed it in to police the officers contacted him when he returned to the Eastiny Plaza hotel where he was staying. Mr.Michael was so pleased when he got his wallet back.


Ms.Pimonrat said that she and her boyfriend went to have some food in front of a grocery store in front of The Avenue Pattaya where she found the wallet which contained money and documents. Therefore she decided to take it to the police.


Mr Michael said that he had been living in Pattaya for 15 years and he was a fitness trainer. He really appreciated that he got his wallet because the wallet contained some crucial documents. Plus he gave some money to Ms.Pimonrat for returning his wallet.
