Thai Drug Dealers Caught Red Handed At Police Checkpoint In Pattaya

2 Thai men were arrested at a police checkpoint on a Pattaya road after the police found drugs in their car.

PATTAYA – December 8,2014 [Pattaya Daily News] at 02.00 am Pol.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong-acting superintendent of Pattaya police station- and police officers had installed a police checkpoint on a Pattaya road in front of Boonthaworn shop in order to inspect for illegal things in vehicles.

Later they stopped a Toyota which was being driven by a Mr Jirawanit Wongsanao aged 29 and Mr Pongpat Panplu aged 24 was his passenger. The police found 2 packs of methamphetamine in Mr.Jirawanit’s trousers and another 11 packs of methamphetamine which weighted 13 gm in the car.

Upon questioning they confessed that they bought the drugs from Mr Nan for 4,000 baht. They said that they had to deal drugs because they had been fired from their other jobs a month ago. However the police officers arrested and charged them for drug possession.
