Teenagers Steal And Take Drugs

The police proved and arrested two teenage boys for stealing motorcycle and illegal drugs consumption, even though the boys denied them initially.

Pattaya, 12th March 2011 [Pattaya Daily News]: At 6 p.m., Police Captain Narongdech Tanapoonsin of Pattaya Department and the surveillance police team patrolled the area in South Pattaya. They found two suspicious teenage boys driving a modified motorcycle (black Yamaha- O, register number plate – Ngor-Kor-Lor 390, Chonburi) along Pattaya Road No.3.

When they saw the police, they drove away immediately. The police pursued and caught them at Prema Place (located on Pattaya Road No.3, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi). The officers checked the number plate and discovered that the owner of the motorcycle was Mr. Apichet Noomchome, who reported of a stolen motorcycle to Pattaya police. The victim described that the bike was stolen at Welcome Jomtien Hotel on 10th March. Based on this information, the police arrested the suspects immediately.

After investigation, the police discovered that the motorbike rider was Mr. Aree Ussaman or Bang, age 17. The passenger was known as Mr. Bank or Kan (anonymous real name), aged 15. Both teenagers worked at a bar on Sunee Soi, South Pattaya. They purchased the motorcycle from a co-worker, Mr. Tat for 2,000 Baht. They paid an installment fee of 500 Baht per day. First installment fee has been made. The teenagers claimed they drove the bike without knowing that it was stolen. However, the police were not convinced with their stories.

Furthermore, the suspects were tested positive for Amphetamines. The teenagers later confessed that they have been taking drugs. The officer notified the owner of his found motorcycle. The teenage boys were charged with theft and illegal drug consumption.
