Teenagers Fight On Important Buddhist Day

A group of teenagers went face to face to fight each other, they tried to use knives from a noodle soup shop, but they were stopped by noodle shop’s owner. One of the teenagers was hit by a soup-dipper on his head, injuring the teenager.

PATTAYA – May 24, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; At around 10.00 AM, news reporters around the Wat Boon Samphun area were informed that a group of teenagers were having a fight at a village. When reporters arrived at the incident they saw that there were 4 motorcycles parked at a 7-Eleven shop. Reporters also saw two groups of teenagers which consisted of 8 in each group. They were insulting and shouting at each other, one of the teenagers tried to take a knife from a nearby noodle soup shop, but he was stopped by shop’s owner, she hit the teenager with a soup-dipper. When the teenagers saw the reporters arrive at the scene, they shouted to express their angriness. Both groups then started to leave the scene as they were informed that police were on their way.

When police arrived at the incident, they questioned the noodle soup shop owner, who has been identified as Mrs. Sangiem Areeua. She told the police that the group’s met at the 7-Eleven, they then started arguing as some of the members of the groups were litigants to them. The two groups then started to challenge each other to fight. But when they were made aware that the police was on their way, they swiftly fled from the scene. Police are now making further investigations on the incident that happened.
