Teenage Revenge Attack Gang Arrested

Police have arrested a gang of teenagers that attacked a group of rivals severely injuring 2 of them. They confessed that they attacked a rival gang injuring 2 and destroying their property outside a liquor shop.

From a previous case where more than 10 male teenagers used knives and pieces of wood to assault a group of rivals in front of the herbal liquor shop in Soi Wat Tharm 1 Moo 13 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province that caused Mr. Manuschai Wutthiyanan, aged 15 and Mr. Nat Thongprasert, aged 15, at the late night on January 6, 2014 as the news reported.

Supphachai Phuikaewkham (Superintendent of Banglamung police station, Chonburi province), Pol. Lt. Col. Theeradech Masthanaphan (Deputy Superintendent), Pol. Lt. Col. Jakkarin Thuasupharp (Deputy Superintendent), Pol. Lt. Col. Nit Withinanthakit (Inspector) together with the detective police team made a statement about the arrest of 6 attackers 1. Mr. Prachya or Tor Meesri, aged 19 2. Mr. Khunanon or Mark Boonkhoom, aged 19, 3. Mr. Kritsada or Bang Lapanich, aged 18, 4. Mr. Dee (alias), aged 17 5. Mr. Good (alias), aged 17 and 6. Mr. Toey (alias), aged 16, with the allegations of assaulting and severely injuring.

Pol. Maj. Gen. Katcha revealed that during the late night on January 5 to the early morning of January 6, 2014 (before incident occurred) the group of 6 defendants and their friends were drinking liquor at “Thee Derm” liquor shop on the side of Pattaya third road that belonged to Mr. Prachya or Tor Meesri. Then a gang rode passed the shop revving their bikes and making lots of noise to agitate the group of defendants which Mr. Prachya (the defendant) remembered that they were the same group that assaulted them at his liquor shop during New Year’s Day. He knew that they drinking liquor at the herbal liquor shop so he told the head of the gang named Mr. Kao (didn’t know his name and surname), aged 40, to gather all partisans in the gang to go and assault them.

Later on the police found out that the group of trouble makers were teenagers from Tharm Samakkhee community so the officers followed up to arrest 6 defendants at their houses. The cause of the incident was because the group of defendants attacked the other group in a revenge attack However, after initial investigation the police charged all defendants with the allegation of assaulting other people severely injuring them and also sent the detective police team to follow up to arrest Mr. Kao (the head of the gang) and other partisans in the same gang to prosecute further according to the Thai law.
