ANG THONG – March 21, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; A teen gang member was arrested for blatantly posting pictures of meth and weapons for sale on his Facebook page. Ang Thong provincial police officers arrested Mr. Nueng (alias) 16 years old. He is a member of the well-known teenager gang, the Wat Tonson or the Wor Tor Sor boys gang.

The arrest resulted after the police were informed that a Facebook page was opened that was selling illegal products like guns and drugs. The police followed up and checked the Facebook pages of the Wor Tor Sor gang, and found that the information was true.

One of the police officers then disguised himself as a Facebook user to follow them, and then later got enough information for police to arrest Mr. Nueng. During questioning, Mr. Nueng testified that he was one of the members of the gang who had opened the Facebook page to sell and buy guns, knives and drugs.

But they got only few customers, because their Facebook page was not very well-known yet. So they rarely sold the illegal products. As for his pen gun the police had seized, Mr. Nueng said he had just bought it to protect himself.

After the police arrested Mr. Nueng, officers brought him to prosecute for selling illegal items and drugs. Police will expand their investigation of the case to arrest all of the gang members.
