Tattoo Artist Shoots Teenager  In Pattaya City

A tattoo artist who works on the beaches in Pattaya was angry with the way a male teenager swaggered around shot him dead in Pattaya City.

PATTAYA – December 20, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 2.00 a.m., Pol.Col. Supphathee Boonkhrong (Deputy Commander of Chon Buri Provincial Police Station, Acting Superintendent of Pattaya city police station) was notified that there was a shooting and 1 person was injured. The incident occurred in front of JV Place which is located at no. 293/37, Soi Bua Khao, Moo 10 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chon Buri province, so he rushed to inspect the  scene together with the rescuers from the Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Foundation, Pattaya city.

 

At the  incident the officers found only a pile of blood and some bullet holes in a glass sliding door of the apartment. The injured victim had already been taken to the Mueang Pattaya Hospital. The victim was identified as Mr. Chainarong Chumphusaeng, aged 22, residing at house no. 13 Moo 11, Tambon Bueng Ngarm, Amphur Nong Phok, Roi Et province, he had been  shot once in the back and the bullet had gone  through his heart.  The doctors attempted to save his life but he later died.

 

Upon questioning Miss Rattichon Phromchan, aged 25, who is a friend of Mr. Chainarong (the deceased), she said that after they had been for  food together she was walking talking to her friend who was in Pattaya looking for a job when suddenly she heard 2 gun shots  and when she turned round she saw Mr. Chainarong on the ground in a pool of blood.

The  gunman then hung around the scene and then called his friend to pick him up in a bronze-grey Isuzu Dmax pick-up truck, license no. Bor Bor 140 Si Sa Ket and then fled the scene.

 

Later the police were notified that the pick-up truck had collided with a motorbike in front of the Queen Hotel, central Pattaya, and there was an injured victim so they rushed to the scene. The officers found Mr. Warin Ramas, aged 40, who was the driver and was also drunk. The officers also found a .38 revolver so they kept it for evidence.

 

From questioning Mr. Warin Ramas  he told police that he is a tattoo artist and works on the beach in Pattaya and he confessed to shooting Mr. Chainarong (a victim) because he didn’t like him. He said that Mr. Chainarong always swaggered around and was a caretaker of a brothel.  Mr. Warin also said that his friend who came along with him wasn’t involved in the shooting   but the police had to question his friend so he can be investigated further.
