PATTAYA – May 27, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- Mr. Thawatchai Arunyik-Governor Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT)-had discussed with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports (MOTS) in order to ask the National Peace and Order Maintaining Council (NPOMC) to reduce the curfew period for some of the tourism provinces which have no political unrest so that the tourists will be able to travel as normal.

In addition Mr. Thawatchai also asked NPOMC to combine society and psychology units to be under the economic unit because TAT and MOTS usually cooperate with these business sectors. He sees that they can operate more effective if they merge with tourism business sectors.
