Swedish Man Fooled And Robbed By Thai Girl In Pattaya

A Swedish man was robbed of all his belongings by a Thai girl after he took her back to his hotel. In the morning he woke up to find all his money and credit cards had been stolen by the girl.

PATTAYA – November 26, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 16.00 pm Ms.Kwanchanok Thana-officer of the tourist  center- helped a foreigner who had been  robbed of his belongings by a Thai girl and he had to stay at Pattaya police station.

 

Mr.Cherif Hafsaoui a 68 year old from Sweden was in the inspection room at the police station and he was really dirty because he hadn’t taken a bath for several days and he only had a bag with him. Ms.Kwanchanok revealed that on 26th of November she found Mr.Cherif and he had told her that he traveled to Thailand on 21st  October and he would travel back home at the end of this month. On 21st  November Mr.Cherif took a girl to the Eastini Place hotel but when he woke up in the morning she had stolen 30,000 baht and his credit card.

 

Ms.Kwanchanok revealed that she reported the incident  to the tourist foundation in Bangkok in order to contact his embassy. Plus the foundation gave him 10,000THB  to pay for accommodation and travel cost to the airport.

 

Pol.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong revealed that Pattaya police and the tourist center collaborate together to help the tourists who were victims of crime. There are 2 officers on the first floor of the police station and this was the first time that the project had helped a tourist. Mr.Cherif really appreciated the help from the police and the officers had taken really good care of him.
