Police said the dead man carried two pieces of cloth that some PAD guards used to ward off danger and wore a ring resembling a police ring, but denied he was a police officer.

They said the victime found late on Tuesday and who was thought to have been beaten to death, had died more than five days ago, at which time that PAD protesters occupied the airport.

The victim, police said, was thought to have been beaten to death.

The protesters seized Don Mueang airport on November 26, leaving it on December 3. Meanwhile, police found weapons left in a building at Government House including various kinds of bombs, guns, knives and bullets. They believed the weapons belonged to PAD guards who hid the weapons in many corners of the building and failed to remove them by the time they left the Government House compound. (TNA)
