Street Vendor Tricked by Thief

A street vendor has been robbed by a Thai man who tricked her into leaving her stall.

PATTAYA-14th October- [PattayaDailyNews] at 08.00 am Pol.Col.Suktad Pumpanmuang- superintendent of Pattaya police station- was notified by Mrs.Chantima Meelarb aged 39 who was fruit street vendor that she had been robbed. After notification the police officers rushed to inspect the scene.


At the scene the police officers found the woman and she revealed that she was selling fruit when a Thai man around 40 years old said he needed to buy a lot of pomelos to sell and asked her to go with him. He then dropped her off and said to her to wait there for his wife and rode off. She waited for around an hour before she called her mom to take her back to her shop where she found her bag containing 40,000 baht, a gold necklace and some other documents had been taken.


Initially, the police tried to track him but they failed. However, the police officers would inspect the CCTV around the crime scene to find the identity of the thief.
