Storm Tosses Pattaya Sea

Storm hits Pattaya city during a couple days. Official warns people about flood and boat shouldn’t set sail.

PATTAYA-17 May-[PattayaDailyNews]; Reportedly, heavy rain hit Pattaya for several hours so it’s quite rare to see tourists on Pattaya beach.

 

At Jomtien beach, marine operators had to move their boats into shelter and the beach was free from tourists due to strong wind and wave.

However, Meteorological Department forecasted that low pressure cell is descending to Myanmar which may affect central and eastern Thailand such as Ratchaburi, Suphanburi, Kanchanaburi, Utaithani, Nakornsawan, Lopburi, Saraburi, Ayudthaya, Bangkok, Nakornnayok, Prachinburi, Chacoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong Chantaburi and Trad.

 

Meanwhile, Marine department Pattaya branch already flew a red flag half-mast in order to warn Pattaya people about flood. Boat is not recommended to set sail.
