Step – Father And Mother Steal Car From Their Daughter

Woman from Trat province informed the police that her car was stolen. Police were able to track down thieves, the thieves were identified as the woman's step-father and mother.

TRAT – June 9, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; At 12.30 AM, Police Lt. Attajin Onnongwa of Trat police station took 42 year-old Tamtanakorn Kamwirat, the main suspect of the case to make a re-enactment of his crime. Mr. Tamtanakorn’s accomplice was 47 year-old Mrs. Jamnean Chamchuen. The couple stole a Mitsubishi Triton pick-up car from 24 year-old Ms. Napawan Ketjaran, who happened to be Mrs. Jamnean’s daughter and Mr. Tamtanakorn’s step-daughter. After the couple stole Ms. Napawan’s car, an investigation team was formed to track-down the suspects.

Ms. Napawan told the police that on June 7, 2013 at around 01.00 PM, her mother, Mrs. Jamnean called her to buy fried chicken from Tesco Lotus. She then parked her car at the supermarket in order to buy the fried chicken, but when went back to her car, she discovered that her car was stolen. She immediately called up the police to investigate. From CCTV footage, police were able to investigate and track-down the stolen car. The car was then found then found at a house, but no one was actually at the house, which forced the police to drive the stolen car back to the police station. Police then continued to investigate, police were then able to identify the suspect as Mr. Tamtanakorn, who was Ms. Napawan’s step-father.

Initially Mr. Tamtanakorn and Mrs. Jamnean will be further questioned by the police in order to find out more about the reason behind the theft. The couple admitted that they did steal the car in hopes to sell it for cash money.
