Speed Boat Sinks In Pattaya Sea

A speed boat sunk in the sea of the coast of Pattaya after it was damaged during rough seas and strong winds. Fortunately all the passengers were wearing life jackets and nobody died.

PATTAYA – November 18,2014 [Pattaya Daily News] marine department was notified that a speed boat had sunk in the sea and 8 Turkish tourists had to be rescued. Fortunately they were picked up found by another boat and taken to Bali Hai pier.

 

Later Sawang Borriboon rescue team rushed to the scene to perform first aid on them before sending them to hospital. The tourists were still in shock and one man was slightly injured.

Upon questioning one of the tourists they said that they rented the boat to go to Koh Larn island and on the way back the sea was very rough causing the boat before to break up and sink. Fortunately they were all wearing life jackets.

 

Upon questioning the marine officers they said that the boat was had just been. Later the officials tried to drag the boat to the shore but the rope snapped and it sunk.
