CHON BURI – November 12, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News], there was a report that Mrs. Nuan (alias), aged 65, had brought Miss Lek (alias), aged 35, who was 8 months pregnant to Phan Thong police station, Chon Buri province, in order to prosecute a Mr. Yai (alias) and Mrs. Tim (alias), aged 46 and 50, respectively, who are the real elder brother and sister-in-law of Miss Lek, in an allegation of together raping Miss Lek causing her to become pregnant.

Mrs. Nuan (alias) told the police that her daughter was very stressed that she was pregnant and tried to commit suicide by eating some medicine so Mrs. Nuan asked Miss Lek (alias) (her daughter) who got her pregnant but at first Miss Lek didn’t say anything until she was 8 months pregnant then she told Mrs. Nuan that she had been raped by her elder brother. Therefore, Mrs. Nuan took her daughter to the police station so the police could arrest the 2 rapists.

Miss Lek ( victim) said that she does not work and she stays at home taking care of her mother. One day while she was cooking she was dragged into the bedroom by her elder brother and his wife where she was raped. Both of them had threatened Miss Lek not to tell anyone otherwise they would kill her.

Now the police are preparing to issue a summons for Mr. Yai and Mrs. Tim to be investigated but if they do not come forward the police will issue an arrest warrant in order to prosecute them further according to the Thai law.
