Banglamung police nabbed Yah Ice dealer (Methamphetamine), found he is a son of Khao Mai Gaew village leader

On 27 October 2007, at 00.30 AM, Pol.Lt.Col. Samrit Kunchit, Banglamung deputy superintendent, detected of drug dealer in Khao Mai Gaew area, Banglamung, then directed Pol.Maj. Thanadet Chomcheawcharn to investigate. Police investigator pretended to order Yah Ice and made an appointment to have drug delivered in front of Star Bungalow hotel, Soi Chaipornwithi, Moo 4, Naklua, Banglamung, Chonburi.
At the time of appointment, two Thai men came by a Toyota Vigo truck, in red number plate, license 1775, Bangkok. Awaiting policemen had appeared to arrest them. The driver of the truck was Mr. Sirichai Geetheepakul (22), living at 51/13, Moo 1, Khao Mai Gaew, who is a son of Mr. Siri Geetheepakul, Khao Mai Gaew village leader. Another guy in the truck was Mr. Wichai Gong-gaew (20), also from Khao Mai Gaew. Police searched the truck and found 1.7 gram of Yah Ice, cash of 14,000 baht, two mobile phones, and confiscated as evidence.

Mr. Siriwat confessed that, his friend, Mr. “On”, rang him up to order Yah Ice, he then bought the drug from another fiend for 3,000 baht. Normally, he would distribute Yah Bah to teenagers in the area and to tourists around entertainment complex in Pattaya and he had never dealt with Yah Ice before. His father who is a village leader of Khao Mai Gaew had learned about it and told him to stop dealing with illicit drugs. He has many friends and also heavily addicted to drugs and he can not stop it. He still distributes drugs in order to get money for going to entertainments.

Police detained the two suspects with evidence and will extend the case for further investigation.
