Smash And Grab On Gym Car Park In Pattaya

A man who parked his car on PRS hotel’s gym car park later returned to find that his car had been broken into and 40,000 baht worth of belongings had been stolen.

PATTAYA- December 22, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 22.00 pm Mr.Nuttapat Muntum aged 23 notified Pol.Capt.Nakornrat Nonsirad-inspector of Pattaya police station- that he parked his Ford Fiesta on the car park of the PRS hotel in South Pattaya. He then went into the PRS fitness centre where he spent 1 hour and 30 minutes.

 

When he returned to his car he found that the back right glass window had been broken and an I-pad, a notebook and a bag which contained documents which were all valued about 40,000 baht had been stolen. He then notified the police and waited for over an hour but they never arrived.

 

Pol.Capt.Nakornrat said that the police went to the scene to check the CCTV and question the witnesses. The officers were told that the CCTV can be checked in the morning and an incident like this has happened before but the police were unable to arrest the thief. The police expected that the thief might be drug user in the area.
