Six Sell Ya-Ba To Bail Their Leader Out

Sutthahip police arrested six drugs suspects, who claimed they distributed Ya-ba for money to bail their leader out of jail

Sutthahip, 14 June 2011 [Pattaya Daily News]: Pol. Col. Somchai Suntavanik (Superintendent of Sutthahip Police Department) released to the media that six members of a major Sutthahip drugs gang had been captured.
Tanapon Srisantear, 49 and Junjira Bunkarn 28 were arrested with possession of five tablets of Ya-Ba and 1,250 Baht cash.

Marisa Dechkup, 27 and Pisit Meuanpo, 31 were caught with two tablets of Ya-Ba each.

Meanwhile Nataya Laitaisong 23 and Opat Wanpor 30 were detained with possession of 40 and 1,200 tablets of Ya-Ba respectively.

Nataya also had 5000 Baht cash and Opat had a loaded gun with him.

According to the police investigation, all six suspects were agents of a bigger drug dealer in Sutthahip named Vorsing or Por, who was imprisoned for drugs dealing.

While in jail, Vorsing instructed his brother, Opat to distribute the rest of the Ya-Ba drugs to customers and used the money to bail him out, the police said basing on the suspect’s confession.
However, all suspects were arrested before they could bail Vorsing.
