Sriracha, the 14th of January 2010 [Pattaya Daily News]: Police Major General Tanet Pin Meung Ngahm (Chon-Buri Superintendent) with Police Colonel Teerapol Jindaloung and his team, held a press conference in the Sriracha Police Station. The conference announced the successful apprehension of all three of the murder suspects involved with the death of Mr. Teo Ah Yau a Singaporean businessman. It was revealed that as a result of an intensive police investigation, the Sriracha police team in coalition with other departments of the area have been able to unravel the murder case within 12 hours of the initial reporting.

The three suspects, Mr. Seu Puksuwan [47], Mr Tee Bunluesieng [36] and Miss Au Samerwong [29] have revealed to police that they had only planned to assault Mr Teo Ah Yau in order to rob him and his home. Miss Au was a service girl and regularly visited Mr Yau in order to render her services. Having been inside his apartment she organised with her Thai husband and another friend to rob Mr Yau who they knew had a lot of money and valuable possessions.

Miss Au has admitted to being a regular girl of Mr. Yau’s, who would often take her back to his home to have sex with him. On the night in question however; Miss Au had called Mr. Yau asking him to meet her out the front of the Robinson’s Department Store to discuss an investment opportunity that she had found and thought he might be interested in. Not thinking anything suspicious Mr. Yau agreed, going to the location on his motorbike to meet with Miss Au and Mr. Tee.

Allegedly, Miss Au then rode the motorbike with the two men to a predetermined location where they had planned to meet Miss Au’s husband, Mr. Seu. Arriving at the scene Mr. Tee prompted the trio to follow him to investigate the apartment, at which point Mr Seu approached Mr. Yau from behind, attacking him with a barrage of kicks and punches before he became faint and fell to the ground.

The three suspects have revealed to officers that; they then took Mr Yau by motorbike to a quiet reserve where they undressed him and stole his valuables before they tied him up at the wrists and ankles and gagged him. At this time Mr. Tee left the other two who proceeded to Mr. Yau’s house where they then stole a variety of his possessions including; a 29in television, some Buddha images, CD player, mobile phone and his Yamaha Meo motorbike. At the time of their arrest the couple had already pawned some of Mr. Yau valuables for cash.

A reconstruction has been completed at the crime scenes, where a lot of local residents had come to witness the event, angrily trying to attack the trio due to the violent and unprovoked nature of the case. All three of the suspects have been charged with murder and will remain remanded in police custody awaiting judicial proceedings to commence.  It has also been revealed that Mr. Seu had previously served two years in prison on robbery charges.
