Pattaya Teenagers use 9 mm Gun in Revenge Shooting

A group of teenagers who argued on Wan Lai in Na Kluea whilst splashing water returned a few days later and shot at a house and motorbike repair shop injuring one man in a revenge attack.

PATTAYA– April 22, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.30 a.m.; Pol.Col. Tharmmanoon Munkhong (Superintendent of Banglamung police station, Chonburi Province) was notified that there was a shooting incident and 1 man had been injured. The incident occurred at the Na Klang Motocross motorbike repairing shop, address 112/2 Moo 2 Tambon Banglamung, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi Province, so he rushed to inspect the scene together with the detective police team and the rescuers of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Foundation, Pattaya city.

When the police arrived at the incident they found the injured man named Mr Therdsak Thongnooch, aged 36, address 125 Moo 6 Tambon Ban Laeng, Amphur Mueang Rayong, Rayong Province. He had been shot once in his right arm so the rescuers sent him to Banglamung hospital.

After inspecting the incident point the police found that the motorbike repairing shop had been shot once in a door and twice in the entrance door of the injured victim’s house. Also the neighbours’ houses had also been shot several times severely damaging them. The police also found 12 bullet cases size 9 mm on the ground so they kept them for evidence.

Upon investigating Miss Patcharin Homkhajorn, aged 47, who is the wife of the injured, said that after Mr Therdsak (the injured victim) had just got back home after going to see the fighting cocks in their coop when suddenly 2 male teenagers pulled up on a motorbike in front of the motorbike repairing shop then 1 of them who was tall and thin man and wearing black clothes and a helmet took out a gun and fired it repeatedly at Mr Therdsak hitting him once, and damaging his house the neighbours houses including the motorbike repair shop.

Pol.Col. Tharmmanoon revealed that from investigating the injured victim and his relatives he perceived that on April 18, 2014 which was Wan Lai of Na Kluea, a group including the injured victim and his younger friends were splashing water together in front of the motorbike repairing shop but his younger friends had an argument with a group of rival teenagers before they fled the scene. Therefore, the police thought that some of the group had returned to seek revenge by shooting at the house and repair shop. However, Pol.Col. Tharmmanoon had already commanded the detective police team to follow up and arrest the culprits to be prosecuted further according to the Thai law.
