Sattahip Teen Arrested with Drugs and M16 Ammo

Satthahip Deputy Governor with undercover team arrest Satthahip teenager in possession of amphetamines, M 16 ammunition and a customer in his rented room.

Sutthahip, June 21, 2011, (PDN), Mr Surachet Keawkum, Deputy Governor of Sutthahip, Chonburi and his team arrested Mr Karun aka “Game” Wisetsuwan, 21, and Mr Sitthipun or “Joe” Cheumthong, 20, in possession of nine amphetamine tablets or “yaba”, 1,000 THB in cash and M16 cartridges in his rented room in Sattahip.

The arrest resulted from the information of the undercover agent, that the suspect Karan sold yaba to teenagers in Sattahip market. He used his rented room to meet, sell and administer the amphetamines to his customers. The police used 1000 THB for as a bait to purchase four tablets. Another suspect, Sitthipan, was arrested as he was taking yaba at the scene.

Karun confessed that he had sold amphetamines to teenagers at the Sattahip market more than one year. He purchased the drugs Mr “Pat”, 30, a known yaba agent at the Sattahip seafood market. Karun paid 190 THB per tablet and he sold it to his customers at 250 THB per tablet. He used his profit from the sales to buy more drugs, and to take yaba himself.

Karun was charged with illegal possession and sales of amphetamines including illegal possession of weapons.

Sitthipan was charged with unlawful self administration of ampetamines.

They were detained to further questioning and legal prosecution.
