Sattahip Sailor Headlocks Crook Who Stole Jewellery Worth 80,000 THB

A thief stole diamond jewellery and other valuables from a sailor’s house worth 80,000 THB. The thief escaped but was caught by the victim who followed the thief. Jumped off his bike and head locked the thief and pressed him to the ground, The villagers helped him to detain the villain who confessed that he needed the loot to buy meth.

Sattahip, February 27, 2012 [Pattaya Daily News]; Pol.Lt.Col. Tossapol Lomnuek, Plutaluang police station, Chonburi reported that Anut Jiemthongsoi age, 32 address: 15/32, moo 6 , Plutaluang, Sattahip,Chonburi.

The suspect riding a black orange Yamaha motorcycle, registration number (ขลง )– 738 Rayong trying to escape into soi Plutaluang golf course.

Two kilometer from the crime scene Mr. Sayan Phusaitong, age 33 had caught the thief with evidence: a golden navy ring, a Tag Heuer Swiss watch, and a diamond pendant, value approximately 80,000 THB.


The suspect confessed that he needed the money to buy meth. The suspect has a criminal record of dealing meth and drug abuse.

The victim said the thief had broken into his house the victim was doing his business.

But on his way home he saw the thief and decided to follow him on his bike. He jumped on him. The bike fell and he headlocked the thief.

Moments later the villager came to help him and the thief was detained. The thief was charged with theft.
