Sattahip Police Clamp Down on Crimes

Sattahip police have clamped down on the use of drugs, guns, football pool (gambling) and thefts in response to the policy of The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) which ordered every police station to subdue all types of crimes in their areas.

SATTAHIP – June 21, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 1.00 p.m., at the meeting room of Sattahip police station, Chonburi province, Pol.Col. Chonnaphat Nawalak (Superintendent of Sattahip police station), Pol.Lt.Col. Pawatchai Sudsakhorn (Deputy Investigation Superintendent), Pol.Lt.Col. Niphon Pomsanarm (Deputy Suppression Superintendent) and the detection and suppression police team together made a statement about the suppression and arrest of 11 offenders that were involved with drugs, theft, football pool and guns, in response to the policy from the government and National Police Bureau in prevention and suppression.

 

The police have arrested a Mr Kai Rassamee; aged 26, for possessing and selling drugs and also having an illegal fir arm. He was caught with 14,000 amphetamines pills, 1 Smith and Wesson revolver size .38 and 5 bullets. Mr Weerayos Klinsuwan; aged 21, was arrested for drug possession and dealing, he was caught with 100 amphetamine pills. Mr Prajak Sisuree; aged 21, Mr Samnao Silueang; aged 34 and Mr Warayuth Damrongsil; aged 30, were arrested with the allegations of hosting a Football World Cup 2014 gambling (pool) they were caught with gambling sheets and an account book of revenue and expenditure. Mr Chanon Somsak; aged 20, Mr A; aged 17, Mr B; aged 15, were arrested for theft of a black-red Honda Wave motorbike, license number Jor Lor Tor-247 Chonburi .

 

Pol.Col. Chonnaphat Nawalak (Superintendent of Sattahip police station) said that this clampdown is to subdue every type of crime in response to the policy of The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO).
