Samui Thief Stole French Woman’s Property

A Samui thief broke into a French woman’s home and stole property worth more than 600,000 baht. This is not the first time her house had been broken into. The police believe that the thieves knew what was in the house.

Surart Thani – December 22, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; Pol.Lt.Capt.Sirichat Kamunee, detective of the shift, of Samui island police station, reported that there was a thief who broke in to a house to steal property which is owned by aFrench woman, number 4/3, Rimtalay village, Lamsor, moo5, Namuang, Koh Samui. Pol.Lt.Col. Samai Prompakol, vice director of suppression division, Pol.Lt.Capt.Pichet Wibut, vice detective department, and the technical police officers went to inspect the scene. At the crime scene a one-storey house with fences surrounding it on 400 square meters of land. In the house they found Mrs.Sesenki Vivienne, 69 years old, French, waiting for the police with her Thai mate. Upon questioning her she said that there were more than 10 things missing, including a safe box, worth 600,000 baht.

The police expected that there were 2 thieves that had broken into the house and they must have known what was in the house and when she went out they broke in. It had been broken into before. The police took finger prints to be used for evidence.
