Russians Jump Checkpoint

Two Russian tourists who were riding a big bike at high speed rode through a police checkpoint and collided with a police officer.

PATTAYA – January 22,2016 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 4.00 a.m., Pol.Lt. (Woman) Chorphaka Phrueksachart (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station) was notified that a big bike had broke a checkpoint and collided with the Pattaya police causing severe injuries. The incident occurred on a grade separation of Bali Hai Cape, south Pattaya.

 

At scene the officers found the injured victim who was identified as Pol.L.Cpl. Chai Inmueang, aged 22, (Suppression Squad Leader of Pattaya city police station). The rescuers performed first aid on him before sending him to Pattaya Memorial hospital.

 

The 2 troublemakers were identified as Mr. German Chernyak, aged 23 from Russia and his Russian friend. They had been riding a black Honda CBR 300 cc and both seemed drunk. They were then both detained and sent to Pattaya police station for questioning.
