Upon questioning Mrs. Jamnian Chananan, who was one of the florists at Wat Chai Mongkhon market, she said that the sales were down from last year and said that the cost of a rose had increased  15-20 THB each and most of the roses were  imported from foreign countries.  Mrs. Jamnian told the journalists that she  didn’t  sell imported roses because they were too expensive and there  were  fewer customers buying the imported roses.
