Retired Soldier Falls From Balcony

An elderly retired Sergeant Major has fallen to his death from the 7th floor of a Jomtien Hotel. There where no signs of foul play and the police believe it was an accident due to him being drunk.

PATTAYA – May 5,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 2.00 a.m., Pol.Capt. Thitiwat Boon-orn (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station, Dong Tarn Curve sub-branch, Chon Buri province) was notified that an elderly man had fallen from a hotel balcony. The incident occurred at one well-known hotel in area of Jomtien beach, so he rushed to the scene together with the rescuers of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Rescue Foundation, Pattaya city.

 

Upon inspecting room no. 7012 on the 7th floor which was where the deceased was staying the officers found Mrs. Pranee Thongngork, aged 68 the deceased’s wife. From initial investigation, the police perceived that after a reunion party had finished Sergeant Major First Class Kittisak (deceased) went back to his room to sleep but he walked out onto the balcony and shortly afterwards Mrs. Pranee heard a very loud noise as if something fell to hit the ground violently so she rushed to a balcony and saw that her husband had fallen off the balcony.

Pol.Capt. Thitiwat assumed that Sergeant Major First Class Kittisak (deceased) accidentally fell over the low balcony because he was drunk.
