Relationship issue results in a bloodbath

A Norwegian was found in a pool of blood after he jumped from the 8th floor balcony of his hotel, dying from a broken heart after having relationship issues with his girlfriend.

Sattahip, 9th March 2011, [Pattaya Daily News]: At 2 a.m. Pol. Lt. Gen. Sompol Nakkampan Investigating Officer of Najomtien Department was informed that there has been a suicide at Ambassador City Jomtien Hotel (located at 21/10 Moo 2, Najomtien, Sattahip, Chonburi). The officer arrived at the crime scene with the accompany of Pol. Gen. Kietpong Numla; Pol. Lt. Gen Peerapong Laothanawin; Dr. Ramet Ampaipit – director of Sattahip KM. 10 Hospital and paramedics team from Sawangrojianatham Foundation.

At the crime scene, the body was found lying faced-down in front of the reception desk, dressed a light blue shirt and shorts. The officers were confronted with a gruesome image of the victim – broken skull and smashed brain. Witnesses reported that the victim had jumped from the 8th floor balcony. His body was transported to the forensic lab at Police Hospital, Bangkok. The police planned to contact the Norway Embassy and victim’s relatives at a later stage.

Further into the investigation, the police found out that the victim was known as Mr. Anatol Gudz who was 64 years old, originally from Norway. Pol. Lt. Gen. Sompol Nakkampan explained that the Norwegian has been living alone in the hotel for a while now. The victim’s roommate reported that Mr. Gudz has been stressed for the past one week and always locked himself in the room. It is speculated that the victim might be having relationships issues with his girlfriend, hence resulting in the suicide.
