Red Shirts Burnt Coffins and Judges Photos

Pro-government red shirts in Pattaya, Chonburi Province yesterday burnt coffins and photos of 9 Constitution Court Judges as they were dissatisfied with the ruling announced on Wednesday to remove caretaker prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra from office.

PATTAYA-May 10, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]: It was reported that the group of 50 Democracy Protection Volunteers led by Mr. Somchai Thanachot, the group leader and Mr. Adisorn Ponlukin, a member of Phue Thai Party with coffins, the wreath, and the photos of 9 Judges rallied to Pattaya City Hall in Chonburi Province on 9 May 2014.

The group protested against the Court Ruling and Independent Entity for having double standards and being unfair. The group then burnt the coffins and the photos of 9 Judges in the symbolic gesture of disagreement with The Court’s ruling to remove caretaker prime minister from the office.
The leader of the group announced that they will also join the mass gathering at Aksa Road on the 10th May.
