Reckless Truck Driver Hits Motorcycle Taxi killing 1

A truck which was being driven at high speed  collided with a motorcycle taxi which was carrying 3 Cambodian passengers. The rider was killed instantly and the 3 passengers escaped with their lives but were injured.

SATTAHIP- November 22, 2014 – [Pattaya Daily News] at 00.30 am Pol.Capt.Aekachai Moonlee-inspector of Sattahip police station- was notified that a truck had collided with a motorcycle and there were 3 injured and 1 deceased. The accident occurred on the road in front of Nong Kra Jong village. After notification the police officers were accompanied with a rescue team who  rushed to the scene.

 

At the scene the officials found Honda Wave which had been severely damaged and the body of 1FS.Wilaisak Thongbai aged 37 a motorcycle taxi rider who had suffered a broken neck. Also at the scene there were 3 injured people,  a Ms.Num aged 12, Mrs.Nueng aged 36 and Mrs.Bo aged 63 who were all from Cambodia and a Ford Ranger which was being driven by SGT.Prawit Harnprasob which had sustained  damaged to a tyre and the bumper. However the officials perform first aid on the injured before sending them all to the  Queen Sirikit hospital.

 

Pol.Capt.Aekachai revealed that the officials questioned the witnesses and found out that the truck was being driven at high speed and hit the motorcycle taxi killing the driver and injuring the 3 passengers. Also the Ford Ranger swerved to miss the accident and collided with the barrier.The officials arrested the truck driver and took him to the police station to be  charged for causing death by  dangerous driving.
