Mr.Pairat said that they expected that someone had drained something into the sea. Upon inspecting the small balls they looked like asphalt smelt really bad too.

Local people and officers together cleaned the beach. It’s expected that the liquid might have be drained into the sea not far from the beach because it was still in a concentrated form.

Mr Sumet said that he had already ordered the officers to clean the beach and collect some samples and sent them for inspection. He was concerned that the incident might affect the tourism industry and the officials aimed to solve the problem as soon as possible. Also the police officers will hunt the ones who drained the lubrication into the sea.
