PATTAYA – May 8, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 11 p.m., a report of some bystanders capturing a ladyboy who yanked a necklace off a foreign tourist was received by Pol. Capt. Yongyuth Wanne ua, Deputy Inspector, Pattaya police station, Chonburi province.

The incident occurred at Pattaya beach near the Bayasa Hotel intersection, central Pattaya, Moo 9 Tambon Nong Preu, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province.

At the scene, officers found the victim, Mr. Evgeny Alimskiy, age 36, nationality Russian, who has a big and tall body. He had been assisted by bystanders to capture the troublemaker.

The ladyboy thief was identified as Mr. Pornkarin Seumram or Na, age 29, address 216 Moo 1 Tambon Koksa-ard, Amphur Nong Bua Rahew, Chaiyaphum province. Mr. Na told police he was afraid that the victim will beat him again.

During questioning, Mr. Evgeny told police that he and his girlfriend were walking on the side of Pattaya beach. Then she went to the shop to buy goods, so he waited for her at the beach.

While he was standing to wait for his girlfriend, the troublemaker ladyboy came to persuade him to buy his sexual services. But Mr. Evgeny tried to walk away. However, Mr Na still followed him to sell his sexual service.

Then Mr. Na yanked off the Russian’s K gold necklace hanging from his neck. The victim’s necklace had a locket of the cross symbol, weight approximately 2 THB.

Mr. Na tried to run away, but the Russian grasped Mr. Na’s arm and captured him. Like a trapped rat, Mr. Na tried to fight to escape, so the Russian locked his neck and used his knee to kick him and punch him, until the ladyboy could not escape. Then the Russian asked for assistance from the nearby bystanders to notify the police.

After he was arrested Mr. Na was still frightened that the Russian would beat him again, because the Russian was so angry that Mr. Na yanked his necklace off and tore it.

The trouble maker ladyboy tried to ask for assistance from the police to keep the victim far away from him. Mr. Na confessed that he really yanked the victim’s necklace, but he didn’t think that the Russian would capture and beat him until he could not escape.

Mr. Na said the reason he had to make trouble was because he wanted money to use, as he didn’t work and had to smuggle to sell sexual services to foreign tourists at Pattaya beach, and find the victims to make trouble.

Mr. Na said he had been previously arrested for stealing property from tourists. But he was currently out on bail out to fight the case, until he got caught making trouble again. After arresting him, the police restrained the thieving ladyboy to Pattaya police station to investigate and prosecute further according to the law.
