Promotion Activities For 2016Pattaya Tourism and Culture Committee have been allocation a 5.5 million THB budget to arrange sales activities in 2016 to attract more tourism.
PATTAYA – Mr. Rattanachai Sutthidechanai (Chairman of Tourism and Culture Committee, Pattaya City Council) chaired a meeting with related organizations in order to discuss how to develop and promote tourism, market and culture of Pattaya city. The main topic was to consider a marketing promotion activity in year 2016.
Mr. Rattanachai revealed that in the past Pattaya city together with Chon Buri Provincial Administration Organization, Tourism Authority of Thailand and private sector organizations had cooperated together to arrange various annual activities as well as domestic and international marketing promotion activities, including Mice City that causes Pattaya city to be a well-known city and has been well accepted by tourism markets in various regions which has seen increasing numbers of tourists.
For 2016, Pattaya city has allocated 5.5 million THB for running the operation which will emphasise on opening ASEAN markets in order to response to the approach to ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) which will be launched December this year.
The road shows will target Indonesia, Vietnam and China which have been the main tourist markets for Pattaya city for a long time. These activities will be conducted in order to motivate and attract more foreign tourists to visit Pattaya city.
The Road Shows and Trade Shows will be emphasized on selling various activities, diversified tour packages (travel packages) and many popular tourist attractions as well the convenient transportation.
Meanwhile, for other market groups such as European countries like Germany or the WTM fair in England they still haven’t made promotion activities to attract tourists to Pattaya.
