Pregnant Woman In Pattaya Sells Drugs To Help Husband

Pattaya police arrested a couple selling crystal methamhetamine. The 3 months pregnant wife was helping husband selling drugs to fight a lawsuit.

Pattaya, February 4, 2012,[Pattaya Daily News] : Pol.Lt.Col. Suppachat Piammanas, Pattaya police arrested Mr. Pee Tangtanode alias “Lek” age 47, address: 105/1 Huadiad, Trat province and his wife, Mrs.Thanyaluk Visetsai aka “Boong” age 35 residing at house number 137 Tambon Naklua, Chonburi.

Mrs “Boong” is found to be three months pregnant and in possession of 9.90 grams of “ice”, 40 of amphetamine tablets, a bank book and drug paraphernelia. The couple was arrested at a rented room in Soi 99,Naklua, Pattaya.

 

Pol.Lt.Col. Suppachat Piammanas said, that the police knew that Khun “Lek” who had been arrested for selling crystal methamphetamine earlier, had been bailed out and was fighting a lawsuit. Both of them were selling drugs; crystal methamphetamine and amphetamine tablets.

In a under cover sting operation the police arrested the couple and seized ice and amphetamine tablets found in their rented room. Pee alias “Lek” confessed, he said that he needed the money to fight a lawsuit, that’s why he started selling drugs again, and this time he had his wife helping him. He sold the drugs to customers in Naklua area.

The couple confessed that they took drugs themselves. The police charged the couple with possession of illegal drugs. They were detained for further investigation and they will be prosecuted according to the Thai law.
