Police Sting Operation Nets Female Drug Dearer

Pattaya police released the news for the arrest of Yah Bah (Amphetamine) dealers. Four Thai females in the same gang were arrested with evidence of Yah Bah and a Revolver.

At 01.00, on September 20th, 2008, Pol.Col. Nopadol Wongnom, Pattaya superintendent, Pol.Lt.Col. Chartchai Ruenthawin, investigating superintendent, Pol. Maj. Chalermsak Thienthongsri investigating officer and investigating team, released the news of the arrest of 4 Thai females joining to sell Yah Bah.

They were Miss Jaruwan Sangsawang or nickname “Cherry” (15), Miss Nittaya Iamjinda or nickname “Nid” (16), from Chonburi, Mrs. Supranee Rattanachote or nickname “Mod” (42), from Konkaen province and Mrs. Tuen Gingjoho (63), from Nakornrachasima province, arrested with the evidence of Yah Bah at the suspects and hidden in a soapbox, 425 tablets in total, and a .38 Smith & Wesson Revolver.

Pol.Col. Nopadol Wongnom, revealed that Pol.Lt.Col. Chartchai Ruenthawin and Pol. Maj. Chalermsak Thienthongsri had arrested Miss Jaruwan and Miss Nittaya with 5 Yah Bah tablets at Ing-prom apartment, Soi Thidawan, Central Pattaya. Both suspects confessed that buying the drugs from Mrs. Supranee for self consuming and selling to tourists and local youngsters.

Police sting operation managed to arrest Mrs. Supranee at the entrance of Big C store, South Pattaya, in possession of 70 tablets of Yah Bah. Searching at her house, police also found a .38 Smith & Wesson Revolver. Police had extended the case and arrested Mrs. Tuen, the big drugs dealer, at Soi Yensabai, South Pattaya, with 350 Yah Bah tablets hidden in a soapbox.

All suspects admitted that have been running Yah Bah business in Pattaya for a long time. Mrs. Tuen had implicated of buying the drugs from Miss Dannapa Pattaraka or nickname “Ew” (37) from Nakornrachasima province, 45,000 baht for a bag of 200 tablets. Police would process the case by law and would follow up to arrest Miss Dannapa very soon.
