Police Set 100K On Lone Thief

Pattaya police set 100,000 baht for anyone who leads to arrest of lone thief plundered cash delivery van.

PATTAYA – Recently [PattayaDailyNews]; According to the case that a cash delivery van was robbed by a lone thief and the thief snatched cash bag contained 8.8 million baht inside and fleeing away. On April 7th, the police officers found the empty cash bag was left in a wooded area in Soi Boonsamphan road; therefore, the officers collected it as evidence in order to check fingerprint on it.


On April 8th at 14.00pm, Pol Col Suktad Pumpanmuang- chief of Pattaya police- revealed that the police officers are investigating and hunting the man so hard and the officers made the leaflet identified the identity of the thief to spread around. In addition, anyone who leads to arrest would be rewarded 100,000 baht by officers. Initially, the police officers spread the leaflets so that the people would be able to realise his identity. The officers also talked to ‘SAMCO’, a company provides security for bank, that they would gave a policeman for each cash delivery van. However, the police officers reportedly set those 2 van drivers free because they are innocent.


Pol Col Suktad would like to ask for collaboration from the driver and rider who have car camera and used the same escape route at same time with the robber to share their footage to the police officers so that they would hunt the man further.
