Police Sergeant Threatens Citizen

A Thai man met the police superintendent after he was threatened by a policeman in his workplace.

PATTAYA-Recently-[PattayaDailyNews] according to the case that a Facebook user posted that he was threatened by a policeman after he had criticised him over what he said to a Pattaya rescuer.


Later the reporters questioned Mr.Chollasit Supatta aged 30 who was a employee of the 3 Broadband company and he revealed that he went to meet Pol.Col.Suktad Pumpanmuang- superintendent of Pattaya police station- to find justice. He added that he went on Facebook and severely criticised the policeman acts.


Mr.Chollasit added that Pol.Sgt.Thornthun went to his office and asked to meet him. Firstly, he just thought that the policeman just came to pay for the internet debt but the policeman said that he criticised Pol.Sgt.Thornthun on the Facebook for his actions. He tried to record the incident but the policeman walked away. As a result, he felt unsafe so he decided to meet the police superintendent.


Pol.Col.Suktad revealed that he had discussed the issue with Pol.Maj.Gen.Amphol Buarabphon- commander of Chonburi- about the incident. Pol.Sgt.Thornthun had been moved from his duty after the incident and will be severely punished if he makes trouble again.
