Police Officer Hits Pot Hole In Pattaya City

A Koh Kood police officer who was riding his motorbike at high speed on a Pattaya rode hit large pot hole which caused him to crash severely injuring himself.

PATTAYA – December 22, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 4.30 a.m., Pol.Lt.Col Anuchet Kartsomboon (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station, Dong Tarn curve sub-branch, Chon Buri province) was notified that there was an accident involving a motorbike and the ride was severely injured so he rushed to inspect the scene together with the rescuers of Sawang Boriboon Foundation, Pattaya city.


The accident happened on Jomtien second road, Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chon Buri province. At the scene the officers found a severely injured victim who was identified as Pol.Sgt. Sa-wian Ta-boot, aged 38, who is a policeman in Koh Kood, Trat province. The rescuers performed first aid on him before sending him to the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital.

Pol.Lt.Col. Anuchet said that from inspecting the accident there were no eyewitness so he assumed that Pol.Sgt. Sa-wian may have been riding his motorbike at high speed when he hit the large pot hole in the road causing him to crash and the bike to slide over 50 metres along the road.


Pol.Sgt. Sa-wian Ta-boot had only been a police officer in Trat province, for a short period of time and previously he worked at the Chon Buri Provincial Investigation Division but then returned to his normal duty at Koh Kood police station.
