Chonburi police investigator arrested a Yah Bah (amphetamine) drugs dealer, who bought the drugs from an agent, at Khong-jiem, near Laos boarder. Police confiscated more than 2,000 Yah Bah and 11,100 baht as evidence.

On 2 December 2007, at 12.00 noon, Pol.Lt.Col. Somchai Sue-trongtrakul, Investigator superintendent, Chonburi, had detected that there was a Yah Bah dealer in Banglamung area. Undercover agent was sent out to investigate and pretended to order 400 tablets of Yah Bah from Mr. Chaleaw Bpudsa (37), living at 94, Moo 4, Borthong, Chonburi. The appointment of delivery spot was made at behind Huey Yai temple, Banglamung.

At the time of delivery, Mr. Chaleaw had arrived by a blue Toyota truck, Tiger, license 6190, Chonburi. Awaiting policemen had identified themselves to arrest him. Searching in the truck, police found 2,800 tablets of Yah Bah with 11,100 baht cash and confiscated as evidence.

Mr. Chaleaw confessed that he had been distributing Yah Bah to smaller agents in Pattaya and Banglamung for a long time. He bought the drugs from Laos agent near Khongjiem district, Ubonrachathani province. Each time he will buy thousand of Yah Bah tablets then resell to make a huge profit and that makes him rich instantly.

Police had recorded the report and would extend the case to arrest the Laos drugs ring of Mr.Chaleaw as soon as possible.
