Police TO Launch Application for Notifying about Incidents and Accidents

Police official launched the application to allow the people to notify the authorities regarding accidents on the road.

BANGKOK- December 26, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at Royal Thai Police office Pol.Gen.Somyod Pumpanmuang-commander of Royal Thai police-, Mr.Sunai Angkawanich-general manger of Wilai Center And Sun company- and Mr.Chalermpol Punnotok-chief of C.T.Asia-had chaired the opening ceremony Spond application which the users would be able to notify the relevant emergency services regarding an incident. Pol.Gen.Somyod said that Royal Thai Police and FM 91 police radio station had opened the “Spond” application to encourage people to notify emergency services about all incidents and accidents on the road via the Spond application in order to manage traffic.


While Dr.Jaiton Sriwangpol said that “Spond” was the good application which allowed the people to notify authorities about any accident on the road. The people could notify the authorities regarding the accident via the application immediately and it’s expected that it could help the police a great deal, especially in the New Year period. “Spond” was the collaboration of FM 91 police radio station and the people, enabling notification of an accident or incident immediately when they spotted anything suspicious. Users of the application can specify the type of vehicle such as van, Taxi, bus. You can download the application in Google Play and App Store from now on.
