Police Hunt For Gold Robbers

Police officers sealed off a labour camp in Pattaya after they found out that some labourers who had robbed a gold shop in Nonthaburi were staying there.

PATTAYA – Recently [Pattaya Daily News]; According to the case that the Yaowarad gold shop in Bang Buatong district, Nonthaburi province was robbed and the villains took 502 gold necklace, 189 gold bracelets and a phone which was all valued about 14 million baht. In addition, the CCTV had recorded the identity of one of the villains who was Mr.Chai approximately aged 25-30 with 3 labourers who stayed in a room behind the crime scene. They had all disappeared after the robbery on the 8th March 2015.

 

On March 9th at 06.00 am, Po.Col.Kritsana Kunakorn-deputy commander, Pol.Col.Siriwat Moranon-superintendent-, Pol.Col.Suktad Pumpanmuang-superintendent of Pattaya police station- and police officers sealed off a labour camp of the Worrakit company located in Nong Prue district after the police officers found out that the villains were hiding there.

Pol.Col.Kritsana revealed that the police officers had inspected the camp which was on about 10 Rais for 2 hours until they found the 4 men with some gold ornaments. Mr.Chai and his family had already fled the scene before the officers turned up. However, the police officers detained the other suspects in order to hunt the rest of the gang and Mr.Chai. It’s expected that he will be caught soon.
