Police Crack Down Drugs Party In Pattaya Hotel

Police raided a Pattaya Hotel following information that there were a group of teenagers consuming drugs in one of the hotel rooms.

PATTAYA- December 20, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 03.30 a.m. Pol.Col.Thitiwat Suriyachai, Superintendent of Chonburi was accompanied with Pol.Lt.Col.Chitdecha Songhong, Deputy Inspector to inspect Natural Park Resort, Pattaya.


On arrival the officers instructed an employee to knock on the room door as the officers were in attendance. Once access was gained the officers located 5.3 grams of cannabis and a group of 30 teenagers inside the room.


Upon questioning MR.Anan Pongparee, aged 22, confessed that he held the party and he announced the party via the Facebook, also he named the party “PARADISE HOUSE PARTY 2, inviting friends to attend at a cost of 500 baht each


Pol.Col.Thitiwat revealed that the officers found out that these teenagers were holding the party and they expected that the attendees might have consumed the drugs, therefore they went to inspect the scene. Mr.Kamin Wongsawas aged 21 was involved in the party and it was later discovered he was in fact the son of the hotel owners.


During the investigation police officers performed drug tests on the teenagers, however they all passed the test. Initially the police officers prosecuted them on charge of selling alcohol without permission and Mr.Siriwut Chalermchaiwattana aged 28, was prosecuted on charge of holding drugs.
